Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Due to the nature of cosmetic products, all sales are final, and we generally do not accept returns or exchanges. However, your satisfaction is important to us! If you experience an issue with your order, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll do our best to help resolve the situation.

What happens if my polish arrives damaged?

We take care to package our polishes securely for shipment. However, we understand that accidents can happen during transit. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the damage, and clear photographs of the affected product and packaging.

We’ll review the information and work with you to arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement for damaged items, subject to availability.

Do your polishes contain harmful chemicals?

Belly Up is committed to thoughtfully formulated nail polish. To the best of our knowledge, our products are 10-free meaning they are formulated without: Toluene, Formaldehyde, DBP- Dibutyl Phthalate, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide, Paraben, Fragrance, or Animal Products

Please refer to each product’s ingredient list for its specific formulation.

As with any cosmetic product, individual sensitivities and allergic reactions are possible. Please review the ingredients before use and discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Belly Up is committed to creating products with care and consideration. We source our ingredients and materials from suppliers who represent their products as vegan and cruelty-free. While we make every effort to work with suppliers who share these values, our statements are based on the information and assurances provided by our suppliers.

We do not conduct animal testing on our finished products. We believe in making thoughtful choices and continually strive to align our business practices with our commitment to cruelty-free and vegan-friendly products.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Available options may vary depending on the payment processor and your location.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Product Disclaimer & Safety Policy

Please read the following information before purchasing or using Belly Up products.

1. Intended Use

Belly Up nail polishes are intended for external cosmetic use on nails only. Do not ingest or swallow the product. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, broken skin, and other sensitive areas.

Use products only as directed and discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs.

2. Allergies and Sensitivities

Our products may contain ingredients that cause irritation or allergic reactions in some individuals. Customers are responsible for reviewing product ingredient information before use, particularly if they have known allergies or sensitivities.

If a reaction occurs, discontinue use. Seek medical attention if symptoms are severe or persistent.

3. Safe Handling and Storage

Nail polish contains solvents and is flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources.

Keep bottles tightly closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets.

Nail polish, loose glitter, pigments, and other small components may present ingestion or choking hazards. These products are not intended for children to play with. Adult supervision does not replace appropriate safe storage.

4. Color and Finish Variations

We make every effort to represent our polishes accurately through photographs, videos, and swatches. However, actual colors and finishes may vary depending on lighting, screen settings, application technique, nail surface, and the number of coats applied.

Glitter, shimmer, magnetic pigments, and other specialty finishes may appear different depending on the lighting and application method.

5. Product Settling and Performance

Some polishes containing glitter, shimmer, or specialty pigments may settle during storage. Follow any product-specific instructions for mixing or application before use.

Drying time, opacity, wear time, and overall performance may vary based on nail preparation, application thickness, base coat, topcoat, and individual use.

Belly Up is a small, independent business, and each polish is hand-mixed and made in small batches with care and attention to detail. Because every batch is made individually, slight variations in color, opacity, texture, shimmer, and glitter distribution may occur.

These subtle differences are a natural part of small-batch production and make each batch a little unique. While we do our best to maintain consistency from batch to batch, the polish you receive may vary slightly from our photos, swatches, or a previous bottle of the same shade.

6. Orders, Shipping, and Damaged Products

We take reasonable care when preparing and packaging orders for shipment. Once an order is shipped, transit conditions are outside our direct control.

If a product arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photographs, and a description of the issue so we can assess the situation.

7. Assumption of Responsibility and Limitation of Liability

By purchasing and using Belly Up products, customers agree to follow all provided directions, warnings, and safety instructions and to use the products only for their intended cosmetic purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Belly Up is not responsible for harm, loss, or damage resulting from misuse, improper storage, failure to follow product instructions, or use contrary to the product’s intended purpose.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, or waives any non-waivable consumer rights.
